Savory Breakfast Pizza

Mushrooms in this recipe brings selenium to the table, an antioxidant that plays a role in thyroid function and metabolism, plus they have fiber (bulk) with very little calories so pile them on!

Ingredients:

1 whole wheat pita

1/2 avocado

1 cup raw mushrooms

1/2 diced white onion

Siracha (to preference)

Directions:

Toast a whole grain pita, when done top smashed avocado, sautéed mushrooms with onion and finish with a drizzle of siracha sauce.
